The re-exam of SI Recruitment-2021, which was in discussion due to paper leak, will now be held in just 1 day. Earlier this exam was held in 3 days. The reason for this is that the number of candidates showing interest in appearing in this exam is now only about 1 lakh 53 thousand. However, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has not officially issued orders for this. RPSC has proposed the date of re-exam of SI Recruitment-2021 as 20 September 2026. On the other hand, this time in SI Recruitment-2021, many new experiments will be started for the security of paper and checking of candidates. 7 lakh 97 thousand candidates had applied for this recruitment examination. 3 lakh 83 thousand 97 candidates had appeared in the last exam. After the exam was cancelled, when it was decided to conduct the exam again, only those who appeared in the first exam were given a chance. For re-exam, these 3.83 lakh candidates were given the opportunity to make corrections and updates in the previously filled application forms. Only 1 lakh 53 thousand people showed interest in this. Two lakh 30 thousand candidates abstained. On May 8, 2026, the Commission had decided to conduct re-examination for 859 posts. In this re-exam, the earlier examination was held from 13 to 15 September 2021. 7.97 lakh candidates had applied for this recruitment. Only 1 lakh 53 thousand candidates showed interest. The process ran from 16 to 30 May 2026 for the candidates to make corrections and updates in their previously filled application forms. During this, the candidate had to update information like mobile number, email address and home address etc. Before making any kind of modification in the application, the candidate had to complete the KVC process in One Time Registration (OTR). Even if the candidate does not want to make amendments in any entry (column), it was mandatory to open the application form in edit mode and give a declaration regarding ‘no amendment required’ and consent to the use of photo, signature and thumb impression used in OTR. But out of 3 lakh 83 thousand 97 candidates, only 1 lakh 53 thousand candidates did so. Now know – What will be the difference between the previous SI Recruitment-2021 and re-exam… 1. Papers will reach the center half an hour earlier. Exam papers now reach the center half an hour earlier. This has reduced the possibility of paper leak. Besides, it has digital lock and security system. Videography is done from the time the paper arrives till it is opened and distributed. Its entire process is also entered. 2. Entry at the center one hour before: All candidates enter the center one hour before the scheduled time of the examination. Papers arrive only after entry. In the earlier system, papers used to reach the center even before the entry of the candidates. 3. Live photo capture facility has been changed in the one time registration process. Live photo capture has been started to check candidates applying through dummy candidates and photo tampering. The videography taken during the examination is matched with the photograph of the candidate captured in OTR. 4. Handwriting sample will be taken. The candidate has to sign and put thumb impression in front of the examiner. Sample of the candidate’s handwriting will be captured in the attendance sheet. The candidate has to write a sentence in the presence of the invigilator and get it verified and signed. 5. There will be QR code-water mark on the admit card, now the admit card cannot be easily tampered by the candidates. The admit card has watermark and QR code scanner. The watermark contains the candidate’s photo and the QR code contains the candidate’s details. Who was not there in the previous recruitment. 6. Fifth option will be available in the OMR sheet. Five options are given in the OMR sheet. It is mandatory to choose one among all the options. Earlier, candidates had to bold one answer out of four options. Now if the candidate does not want to answer the question then it is mandatory to fill the fifth option. If you do not do so, there is a provision for negative marking and declaring you ineligible. Which was not the case last time. 7. Token system in interviews: Token system has been introduced in interviews. In this a candidate chooses the token anonymously and is allotted to the interview board on the same basis. In such a situation, no one knows before the interview which candidate will give interview in which board. 8. Attendance sheet proforma requiring large size photo has also been improved. It includes large size photograph and fingerprints of the candidate. Who were not in the last examination. SI Recruitment-2021 Big arrests in SI Recruitment-2021… 1.
