NEET UG Re-Exam will be conducted across the country tomorrow i.e. on 21st June. After the allegations of NEET UG paper leak and rigging, the National Testing Agency and state administrations have made full preparations to make the re-examination transparent. This time, along with increasing the number of CCTV cameras, high-tech jammers have been installed to prevent cheating in the examination.

Live monitoring of centers from Delhi headquarters

The National Examination Agency has informed on social media that an ultra modern central control room has been set up in the main office in Delhi. Through this, live video streaming of more than 5000 examination centers across the country will be seen.

Senior officers of NTA themselves are part of this monitoring team, who will take immediate action on any suspicious activity or technical glitch occurring at any center and maintain transparency in the examination.

Mock drill across the country today

Preparations for NEET UG re-exam, which is going to be held on June 21 across the country, are in the final stages. Under this, today the National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting nationwide mock drills. Through this mock drill, the ground level preparations at all the examination centers are being closely examined so that no mistake or technical glitch occurs tomorrow.

WhatsApp number released for help

NTA has started a WhatsApp channel to protect the students appearing for the re-conduct of NEET-UG on June 21 from any kind of lies and rumours. Through this, all kinds of information related to the examination will be given to the students. Information will be sent to students only through WhatsApp 91-7827980287. Therefore, it is suggested to check the verified blue tick of WhatsApp and the name of NTA before trusting any message.

NTA told through email that now messages are being sent through SMS, e-mail and WhatsApp only to those students who have not yet downloaded their new admit cards.

22 lakh students registered

NTA also said that so far 20 lakh students have downloaded the admit cards for the re-examination on June 21. This time around 22 lakh students have registered for NEET-UG.

SMS will come from NICPEP ID

NTA said that the original SMS will be sent from the official sender ID ‘NICPEP’ and the email will come from ‘no-reply.neet.nta@nic.in’.

NTA reiterated that http://neet.nta.nic.in is the only official website for this process. Candidates are advised to enter this URL directly in their browser.

Will not be able to reply on WhatsApp

According to NTA, WhatsApp service is just a ‘broadcast-only channel’ and it will not ask you to reply, share OTP or personal information or make payment. Any message claiming to be from NTA asking for such information is fake.

Special teams will remain at stations in UP

In view of the scorching heat, special arrangements have been made for free transport, electricity, water and ambulance in many states including UP. Teams of Railways, Roadways, ARTO and City Magistrate will remain at the stations, so that the candidates coming from outside continue to get adequate buses and trains.

Hotel and lodge owners have also been sensitized. Apart from this, there will be live monitoring from the main control rooms set up in the districts and the social media cell will keep an eye on those spreading rumours.

The exam was canceled on 12th May

The NEET-UG exam was scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026, but it was canceled by NTA on May 12 following allegations of paper leak. CBI is investigating the case and now the examination will be held again on June 21, 2026.
