The result of the students who appeared in the CBSE class 10th second board examination has been released. Students can check and download their results through the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education, cbse.gov.in.
A total of 96.78% students have passed the examination. After the release of CBSE 10th Main Exam result, about 6.7 lakh students had applied to appear in the second board exam.

Rank or topper list not released
CBSE has also made it clear this time that the board will not release the rank or topper list of any student. The board says that its objective is to reduce the pressure of competition on students. However, students who have performed best in different subjects will be given merit certificates. These certificates will be made available through DigiLocker after the release of the results of the second board examination.
It is necessary to get 33% marks
Students who were declared unsuccessful in one or two subjects in the main exam. They are required to obtain minimum 33% marks to pass the second board examination. Along with this, students who fail in the second board exam can improve their marks by appearing in the board exam next year.
10th board second exam started this year
CBSE has started the second board examination for class 10th from 2026 itself so that the students can get another chance to improve their performance in the same academic year. This system has been implemented by the Central Board of Secondary Education in accordance with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
