The Civil Services (IAS) pre-examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) was held on Sunday. In Rajasthan, examination centers were set up in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer. A case of secretly giving entry to candidates in a center in Ajmer has come to light. It is claimed that a policeman here sent some candidates inside after the entry time was over. On wrongly giving entry to the candidate, the exam coordinator said that the matter is being investigated. Some get entry, some don’t. The matter is of Savitri School of Civil Lines of the city. According to the information, the entry time for the first inning was till 9 am. But even after that a policeman sent the candidates inside through the other gate of the centre. A video has also surfaced in which a policeman is allowing entry of a female candidate along with her bag. At the same time, at around 9.10 pm, a girl who came from Kanpur was not given entry and she returned. Actually, as per the rules, candidates can neither enter nor come out of the center after 9 o’clock. Allegation of sending more than 3 candidates inside: Family members of some candidates present outside the center said that after the end of time, more than 3 candidates were sent inside. The main gate of the center was closed at 9 o’clock. There is another small gate near it, through which the late candidates were being sent inside. There were 3 policemen outside the centre, one of whom was allowing the candidates to enter. Exam in 2 shifts: The civil services preliminary examination of the Union Public Service Commission was held in two shifts on Sunday. This time 8 examination centers were made in Ajmer, where about 2600 candidates were registered. The first shift took place from 9:30 to 11:30 am. The second innings lasted from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. The gates of the centers were closed 30 minutes before the start of the examination. Police were deployed for security. The candidate had gone out to take medicine for migraine. According to the information, the center administration has informed the district administration about the preliminary investigation. It was told that the candidate had gone out at 8:58 in the morning to get medicines after complaining of migraine. After this, when she came back, she was given entry through a small gate.
