UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination conducted by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow started from 8th June 2026. Today is the second day of this exam. Strict security arrangements have been made for the examination at 28 centers in Uttar Pradesh. Employees were also examined. Entry was given at the exam center only after biometric verification. More than one thousand policemen are deployed on examination duty.

While narrating the reality, these videos are becoming increasingly viral in which students are seen getting harassed amidst a huge crowd. As soon as the exams are over, all the arrangements made by the government at the railway station and bus stand seem to be crumbling.

Regarding this examination, the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has given 50% discount in buses to the candidates traveling for the recruitment examination.

Train stopped due to storm, students reached center on foot

Due to the storm in Unnao, a tree fell on the way of the train going from Kanpur to Balamau, due to which the train stood still for hours. Due to this obstruction, the students going to appear for the examination had to proceed on foot. This caused huge problems in reaching the center on time.

More than 10 thousand students did not reach the exam center

2953 students were absent in the first shift of the exam and 2910 students were absent in the second. In this way, instead of 25,536, only 19,673 students appeared in the exam. 12,768 students were to appear in the first shift from 10 am to 12 noon but only 9815 students came. 9858 came in the second shift from 3 to 5 pm.

Checking hair along with clothes:

During checking of students in the examination, even their shoes and belts were made to be removed. Apart from clothes, their hair and ears were also examined. The exam center was monitored through CCTV cameras. Students were allowed to enter the exam hall only after biometric verification and retina check. Here also the candidates were given question paper after checking.

A student detained on suspicion of disturbance:

The parents who had come with the candidates were seen suffering from the heat throughout the day. An Instagram user has been detained by the police in Azamgarh. Candidate Sachin Singh was arrested for committing irregularities during the examination in Hapur. Whereas in Gorakhpur, a student was caught using mobile phone inside the examination centre.
