National Testing Agency i.e., NTA has released the CUET UG 2026 result today on 23rd June. This year 15.6 lakh students had participated in the examination.

This time only one student has scored 100 percentile in four out of the five subjects chosen by him. Whereas 22 students have obtained 100 percentile score in three subjects and 180 students in two subjects and a total of 3,214 students have obtained 100 percentile score in one subject each.

Students will be able to take admission in more than 300 universities with the help of score.

This exam ended on 7th June. Only after the CUET result, the admission process starts in graduation courses in big institutions of the country including Delhi University.

CUET UG entrance exam will provide admission in UG courses of more than 300 universities of the country including all the central universities like DU, JNU, BHU, Jamia, AMU, Allahabad University.

CUET UG exam was conducted from 11 to 31 May 2026. Due to some technical and administrative reasons, additional examinations were also held on 31 May, 6 June and 7 June. After the completion of the examination, NTA had released the provisional answer key on June 9.

Opportunity was given to register objections till June 11. This time CUET examination was held for 37 subjects. It consists of 13 languages, a general aptitude test and 23 domain subjects.

What will be written in the score card:

  • Your name
  • application number
  • Subject marks
  • percentile score
  • normalized marks
  • qualification status

Counseling starts after the result

After the result, through counselling, students apply for admission to the course and college of their choice in the university. Every university conducts this process at its own level. The purpose of counseling is to decide whether seats are allotted to eligible students on the basis of their merit, score and choice.

Every university releases its counseling and admission schedule based on CUET score and other eligibility conditions like category, reservation policy etc. Students should always keep checking the respective university website and counseling portal for updates.

Process to apply for counselling:

Under the counseling process, students apply on the counseling portal of the university. Note that the counseling portal of many universities is separate from their regular website. For example, the regular website of Delhi University (DU) is www.du.ac.in but the separate portal for the counseling process is ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

Students visit this counseling portal and register, upload CUET score card and other required documents. After this, students fill the preference of the college/institution and course of their choice. These colleges may be affiliated with the university or may be under the university itself.
