Uttarakhand Board – Akshat in 10th, Geetika-Sushila topper in 12th: 23 thousand children failed, Bageshwar’s result is the best, Dehradun lagged behind.


Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) on Saturday released the results of 10th and 12th board exam 2026. The formal announcement of the examination results was made in the presence of State Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat. 92.10 percent students have passed in high school (10th) and 85.11 percent students have passed in intermediate (12th). In district wise performance, Bageshwar’s result was the best, while the performance of the capital Dehradun was the weakest. Akshat Gopal of Nainital has topped the state in class 10th by scoring 491 marks out of 500. Whereas in class 12th, Geetika Pant of Bageshwar and Sushila Mehndiretta of Udham Singh Nagar jointly secured the first position by scoring 490-490 marks. In the district wise results, Bageshwar remained on top in both the classes. This time also the result of girls has been better than that of boys. This time around 2.15 lakh students had appeared in these examinations, whose eyes were fixed on the results. This year, the main examinations of the board were conducted peacefully across the state between 21 February and 20 March 2026.
