Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement for NEET candidates. Before the NEET exam, review was done at the level of CM Yogi. CM Yogi instructed the police and administration to make concrete preparations. After the NEET paper leak, the exam is going to be conducted again on June 21.

Announcement of 50% discount in bus fare

CM Yogi Adityanath has announced to give 50% discount in fare to the candidates appearing in the NEET exam to be held on June 21 on showing the admit card in Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation buses.

3.5 lakh candidates will give exam in UP

Apart from this, instructions have also been given to make arrangements for temporary accommodation for the candidates going to take the examination in other districts. Around 3.5 lakh candidates are going to appear in the examination from Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said that the candidates appearing in the examination should be given 50% discount in fare on showing the admit card in the buses of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Apart from this, CM Yogi has also given instructions to provide temporary residential facilities for the candidates going to other districts to take the examination if there is no arrangement to stay there.

Use of aircraft to carry paper

According to the officials, all the work related to the exam like setting of questions, translation, printing, packaging, storage to transportation and distribution is being strictly monitored. Indian Air Force aircraft will be used by the government to carry all the items related to the question paper.

In the digital sector, officials are monitoring social media platforms and messaging 24 hours to keep fake question papers, misinformation and suspicious activities away from the exam.

Live monitoring from CCTV

To prevent paper leaks in NEET 2026, the exam center will be monitored through facial recognition, biometric testing and live CCTV. The examination will be conducted on June 21.

NEET exam 2026 was canceled on May 12

NEET UG exam 2026 was held in 551 cities across the country and 14 cities abroad. 22 lakh students appeared in this exam. NEET UG 2026 exam has been canceled due to paper leak. There were demonstrations across the country against this rigging.

According to NTA, information about irregularities in the examination was received on the evening of May 7. After this the matter was handed over to the central agencies. On May 12, the exam was canceled and the decision to re-exam was taken.
