RPSC has issued advertisement for recruitment to 371 posts of Assistant Prosecution Officer (Home Department-Prosecution). Online applications for these posts can be made from June 8 to July 7.

The preliminary examination of this recruitment is proposed to be conducted on 2nd September. Age limit should be minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 1 January 2027. These posts were advertised by the Commission in 2024.
After this, the age was calculated considering January 1, 2025 as the base. After this no advertisement was issued for these posts. Therefore, candidates will be given additional relaxation of one year in the maximum age limit. Candidates will be selected through competitive examination. The competitive examination will be conducted in two stages as preliminary examination and main examination.
This will be the examination fee
- Rs.600 for General (Unreserved) and Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class applicants of creamy layer category of Rajasthan.
- Rs 400 for non-creamy layer category Other Backward Class/Most Backward Class, Economically Weaker Section and Disabled of Rajasthan.

Candidates will have to click on the Apply Online link on the Commission’s website https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or login through the SSO portal https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
- After this, one time registration (OTR) will have to be done by selecting the recruitment portal in the Citizen App (G2C).
- For doing OTR for the first time, the name of the candidate, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary/equivalent examination, Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Voter Card/Driving License, any one of the I.D. It is necessary to upload the details and documents of the proof.
- Login and select the recruitment available in Citizen App and apply online on the basis of your OTR number.
- After one time registration, it will not be possible to make any changes in the OTR profile.
