Registration starts for DU PG courses: You can take admission in 82 courses, know the complete application process.


Delhi University i.e. DU has started registration from May 16 for admission in postgraduate programs for the session 2026-27. The last date to register is June 7. Students wishing to take admission in PG courses in different colleges of the university can now apply on the official admission portal. According to the Registrar’s Office, students who are currently studying in the third or fourth year of their graduation can apply for the two-year Masters programme. 50% marks are required for admission in DU PG course. Students of UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category applying for PG course in DU must have at least 50% total marks or its equivalent grade in the UG qualifying exam. Whereas, for SC/ST/PwBD category students, they should have at least 45% total marks or its equivalent grade in the qualifying exam. Along with completing the eligibility of the course in which students want to take admission, it is necessary to appear for the Common University Entrance Test i.e. CUET (PG)- 2026 exam for PG admission. DU is offering 82 courses in Masters. Around 6.5+ lakh students study every year in total 16 faculties of DU. There are 86 departments and 91 colleges in the university. The application fee for unreserved, OBC and EWS categories is Rs 250 per course. Application fee for SC/ST and PwBD will be Rs 100 per course. This time the university has started a new facility for the students. Now students’ information like name, date of birth, category, gender, parents’ name and CUET score will be automatically added through DigiLocker/API Setu platform. How to register on DU’s PG CSAS 2026 portal Note: According to the new rules, instead of all the details, only DigiLocker or API SETU link can be asked. With this, important information like candidate’s name, DOB, CUET score, will be automatically uploaded on the portal. Students have been advised to keep visiting admission.uod.ac.in website for updates. In DU, 27% seats are reserved for OBC and 22.5% seats for SC/ST students. 27% seats in DU colleges are reserved for OBC (non-creamy layer in the central list). Total 22.5% is reserved for SC/ST, out of which 15% is for SC and 7.5% for ST. 10% seats are also reserved for EWS quota, but the EWS certificate should be updated after March 31, 2026. 5% seats in each course are reserved for PwBD candidates.
