National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has released the result of JEE Mains 2026 Paper 2 on May 5. Along with the results, NTA has also released the list of top performers.
In JEE Mains Session 2, 3 candidates from Kerala and 1 from Uttar Pradesh have scored 100 percentile. Meera Krishna R.S. of Kerala in BArch paper. And Suryatejas S. Scored 100 percentile. Gauri Shankar V from Kerala and Sarthak Agarwal from Uttar Pradesh have scored 100 percentile in BPlanning paper.

Kerala’s Meera Krishna tops both Paper 2A and 2B
5 of the overall top 20 in 2A and 2B are from Kerala. There are 3-3 toppers from Kerala in both the papers. Meera Krishna R of Kerala. Both Session 2 papers 2A and 2B are in the top 10.
Result 50-50 in BArch, only one girl in top 10 in BPlanning
There was 50-50 in BArch paper. The top 10 scorers include 5 boys and 5 girls. So in the BPlanning paper, only one girl is included in the top 10. Meera Krishna R of Kerala, who scored 100 percentile in BArch paper. She is the only girl in the top 10 in BPlanning paper.

1,00,913 candidates had registered
1,00,913 candidates had registered for JEE Mains 2026 Paper 2. Of these, 71,423 had appeared for the exam.
The exam for Paper 2 was held on 7th April. NTA had released the final answer key for JEE Main Paper 2 on May 4. Now the result has been released on 5th May. Candidates can check their result on the official website of JEE Mains, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

- Save the result.
Paper 2 exam is for architecture and planning.
JEE Main Paper 2 (Paper 2A and 2B) is for admission to Bachelor of Architecture i.e. B.Arch and Bachelor of Planning i.e. B.Plan courses. After clearing this, candidates are eligible for admission in central institutions like NITs and SPAs. Whereas Paper 1 is for engineering courses like BE/B.Tech.
JEE Advanced exam on 17th May
Recently the registration deadline for JEE Advanced was extended till May 5. Registrations for JEE Advanced started on 23 April. Admit cards will be released on May 11. Its exams will be held on 17th May.
