On opening the CBSE website, it is written that the site is under maintenance.

CBSE has started the online application process for scanned copy of answer sheet from May 19. But due to technical glitches the website is continuously crashing for the last 5 days. Today is the last date for application, but the website is not loading at any time.

Even if the site opens, the page has to be refreshed at least 10 times to move one step. Students who had applied 3-4 days ago have neither received the copy yet nor been given any information through mail or text.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has taken cognizance of technical problems like server down, payment failure and blurred pages. He has sought a detailed report from the board on the accountability of the responsible agencies. A source gave this information on Saturday.

A student complained while sharing the photo on social media and wrote that payment of Rs 300 was rejected 4 times and payment of Rs 3 was accepted.

Money is being returned after payment

Some students got the message at 11:30 in the morning that the payment was successful and the application was submitted, at 6:45 in the evening suddenly the message came that their money has been refunded and the application was not submitted. Students are worried that if the copies are not received on time, then how will they be able to apply for re-evaluation of their copies on time.

Rumor of cancellation of re-evaluation

Amidst the server shutdown and the problems faced by the students, a fake circular is also going viral on social media. This circular dated May 23 claims that the process of re-evaluation and obtaining scanned copies of 2026 has been canceled due to technical difficulties.

It has also been rumored that the fees deposited by the students will be refunded within 15 working days and their old marks will be considered final. CBSE has clarified on social media platforms that this circular is completely fake.

Many students wrote that the payment on the website is showing Rs 8000 instead of Rs 100.

At some places 2-2 pages are missing and at some places 2-2 pages are repeated.

A major discrepancy has been found in the answer sheet of a student of Business Studies from Madhya Pradesh. Page numbers 12-13 and 20-21 of the copy were not scanned. In such a situation, the student did not get marks for the answers written on these pages.

Pages 14-15 and 18-19 have been scanned twice and uploaded to show the complete page number. These are shown as ‘Repeat Answers’ in the PDF. Marks have not been given correctly in many answers.

Where to get help from? Helpline also became a showpiece

CBSE helpline numbers are also of no use. Whenever students call these numbers, there is just a single beep and no one answers the phone. CBSE Helpline Number: 1800-11-8002, Other Helpline Numbers: 011-22509256, 22509257, 22509258, 22509259, Email: info@cbse.gov.in
