1. Results of assembly elections of 5 states declared

2. Vietnamese President To Lam visits India

On May 5, Vietnamese President To Lam reached Gaya in Bihar on a three-day state visit to India. A high level delegation has also come to India with him.

3. Two journalists from India received Pulitzer Prize

The Pulitzer Prize is announced on May 4. In this, two Indian journalists Anand RK and Suparna Sharma have received the Pulitzer Prize for Illustrated Reporting.
