Exam center videos of NEET UG exam held on 3rd May are viral this year also. Videos of strict checking of students in different states are being shared on social media. There are some of these which have become the subject of discussion.

The first video is from Barmer district of Rajasthan, in which a burqa-clad NEET aspirant got entry into the exam center just by identifying his face.

Many people are saying on this video that amidst such strict checking, how is anyone being allowed to enter the exam center wearing a burqa. However, based on this video it is not clear whether the student has been allowed to appear for the paper. In the video, the student is seen going ahead after getting checked.
Tulsi garland removed from student
The second video is from Surat, Gujarat, where there was a lot of ruckus when a student was not allowed entry with Kanthi (Tulsi rosary). In the video, the student’s father raised many questions regarding this strict checking. He even said that ‘We are in Surat, not in Pakistan.’

Burqa is not allowed in the exam, then how to enter with it?
After this, an online debate broke out on social media that on one hand there was such strict checking that even the symbols of Hindu religion were not being left out, while on the other hand a Muslim candidate got entry into the exam center with a burqa. That too when hijab is allowed in NEET exam but burqa is not.

Meanwhile, a video of a doctor who qualified NEET 2024 also went viral, in which she has shared her exam experience in 2024.
He told that before entering the exam centre, his foreskin was cut and even the rubber band was asked to be removed. She further says, ‘Due to all this, the atmosphere was so crazy that I was forgetting more than what I had read. At that time I even got fever.

The third video is also from Sikar, Rajasthan, in which the cord and even the chain of the pajamas of the candidates were cut and removed. Entry was granted only after this.
The fourth video is from Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu, where a student was not allowed entry into the center because he did not bring the same photo as on the admit card.

Physics section can prove to be a rank deciding factor
Physics section was quite challenging, in which more conceptual and calculative questions were asked from subjects like current, electricity, magnetic effects etc., due to which this section can prove to be a rank deciding factor.
Most of the questions in Chemistry are NCERT based.
The level of Chemistry was easy to moderate, where Physical Chemistry was easy, while some questions of Organic Chemistry were a bit tricky and most of the questions were NCERT based.
To test the conceptual understanding of aspirants in Biology
Biology was the highest scoring section, in which direct questions were asked from topics like Human Physiology, Genetics, Biotechnology and Plant Physiology.
This year, there were more statement-based and match-the-column questions in the Biology section, which tested the aspirants’ conceptual understanding, line-by-line understanding of NCERT and their ability to differentiate between similar concepts, rather than just memorizing them.
Overall, priority was given to understanding of concepts and grasp of NCERT in the paper and aspirants believe that the questions were easy, but time management was very important to score well.
