Amidst the ongoing protests in the capital Delhi over the NEET paper leak issue, Delhi University (DU) has issued an advisory for students and teachers. The university has appealed to stay away from protests at Jantar Mantar and said that participation in such events can lead to legal action.

Please note that any unlawful assemblies or demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, which are strictly regulated as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, may invite legal action. DU says that such activities are not only a threat to the safety of students, but can also affect their educational records and future career. Students were also advised to be cautious of misleading and fake news spreading on social media.
Student organizations active in this movement include Students Federation of India (SFI), All India Students Association (AISA), All India Students Federation (AISF), Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and independent student groups of various DU colleges.

JNU advisory: Give priority to personal safety
JNU said on Twitter that all members are advised to act responsibly and give priority to their personal safety. In accordance with the directions of the Supreme Court regarding public demonstrations, you are requested to avoid attending or attending gatherings at or near Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
Also behave responsibly on social media and maintain the values of academic responsibility and responsible citizenship.

IIT Madras said that the real foundation of trust in any examination is the teachers who prepare the question papers. We trust their honesty and truthfulness. Media reports about NEET paper leak suggest that the question paper setters themselves are involved in this scam.
It is also surprising to know from the media that when CBSE started the re-evaluation portal, cyber criminals tried to stall it by sending 3.8 million packets in a short period of time.
Rahul Gandhi criticized the advisory
In the Lok Sabha, today i.e. on 24th July, Rahul Gandhi strongly criticized the advisory of Delhi University DU in which students were asked to stay away from the protests at Jantar Mantar. The Congress leader accused the university of intimidating students for exercising their democratic rights.
