IIT Kanpur Alumnus Siddharth Saxena Merlin AI Startup Success Story

Siddharth Saxena’s name has been included among the youth who earned crores at a young age. He has claimed to earn approximately 8 million US dollars i.e. 77 crores in a single day.

Siddharth is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur. He took B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Kanpur. He is a young entrepreneur who has made his mark in the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). At the age of just 26, he has made record breaking earnings in a single day.

Siddharth is a resident of Alwar in Rajasthan. After completing his studies, he got involved in research and development in various international tech companies.

Created a startup with friends

In the year 2022, Siddharth launched ‘Merlin’ along with his IIT Kanpur batchmates Pratyush Rai and Sirsendu Sarkar. This is an AI-powered Chrome extension that increases user productivity manifold.

Today the value of this startup is estimated to be around Rs 415 crore. Along with this, Siddhartha followed Merlin in Thain (thine) Also started another AI startup called.

Merlin Useful AI Tools for Professionals

Merlin is headquartered in the US. This AI tool is available as a Chrome extension. It can be used on web, desktop and mobile. It is a useful AI tool for students, content creators, marketers and professionals. The three founders of Merlin were included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia 2024 list.

Thine is Siddharth Saxena’s second AI startup. Its headquarters is in Palo Alto (California, USA). Siddharth believes that it is very difficult to get admission in the Computer Science course of IIT Kanpur for which one has to work hard.

This is 20 times more difficult than admission to Harvard. While studying in Kanpur, he became interested in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, which later decided the direction of his career.

Siddhartha initially focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI). After that, the startup was established keeping the global market in mind. This is considered to be the biggest reason for his success.

Siddharth believes that to be successful in business, not only technology but also right thinking is necessary. According to him, people should leave limited thinking and adopt the mindset of seeing bigger opportunities and taking risks wisely.
