NTA has released the provisional answer key of Re-NEET UG 2026. Candidates who appeared in the re-NEET held on June 21 can check the answers by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
You can file objections on the provisional answer key
Candidates will also be able to lodge objections on the provisional answer key. After this the subject expert will examine all the objections. After that the final answer key will be released. Score, All India Rank (AIR) and merit list will be released on the basis of final answer key.
Counseling will start after the final result
- Medical Counseling Committee MCC conducts counseling for 15% AIQ seats.
- For 85% state quota seats, the respective state counseling authorities run the process.
Admission will be available after documents verification
Candidates will fill the choice of colleges. After that there will be seat allotment and admission will be given after document verification.
22 lakh students registered
According to NTA, this time around 22 lakh students registered for NEET UG. The NEET-UG exam was scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026, but it was canceled by NTA on May 12 following allegations of paper leak. NEET was re-conducted on 21 June 2026.
