To get a government job, a 27-year-old boy from Rajasthan, Rahul, hacked the website of Public Service Commission (RPSC).
Cyber police station has arrested the accused. Investigation has revealed that Rahul Kumar had hacked and tampered with the RPSC website with the help of AI tools to get a government job in his state.
According to the investigation, he tried to manipulate the selection list by infiltrating the portal related to the Assistant Mining Engineer recruitment examination.

Prepared coding to bypass OTR
Actually, the name of accused Rahul was in the provisional waiting list. He created coding to bypass the One Time Registration (OTR) process with the help of AI tools by creating fake SSO ID and Gmail ID.
After this, he withdrew the forms of the candidates ahead of him on the portal, so that his number could come up in the waiting list and he could be selected.
What was the purpose of tampering with the website?
The accused has been identified as 27-year-old Rahul Kumar. Rahul Kumar Meena is a resident of Dausa. Rahul has done B.Tech in Mining Engineering from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). After that he was selected for the post of Mining Engineer in SAIL and is currently working in Jharkhand.
He wanted to get a job in Rajasthan. Therefore, the Commission’s website was tampered with for its selection in RPSC Assistant Mining Engineer Recruitment 2024.
How RPSC website hacking was revealed
Rahul Meena was second in the waiting list. If he had rejected the application of only the number one candidate, he would have been directly suspected. Therefore, to avoid this doubt, he himself withdrew the applications of the three candidates running at 1, 4 and 6 in the waiting list by generating fake links. The matter came to light when application withdrawal messages reached the mobile phones of the candidates concerned.
Login to portal via Wi-Fi
Rahul hacked the RPSC portal with the help of AI and used VPN several times to hide his identity. He was logging into the portal using other people’s Wi‑Fi network. Cyber experts and Ajmer Police team tracked his device and IP address and arrested him.
The accused has been sent on police remand till June 25. Also, efforts are being made to find out whether he was alone in this conspiracy or his other associates were also involved in it.
