QS World University Rankings 2027 have been released. Not a single Indian institution has been included in the ranking of top 100 universities released by this ranking. In the list of top 200, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has once again made its place as the best education and research institute of India. This institute has improved its position and achieved 118th position globally.
MIT number one for last 15 years
This year too, America’s MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) has secured the place as the number 1 university in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2027. The special thing is that MIT is on top in this ranking for the 15th consecutive year.

Improvement in ranking of DU and JNU
Delhi University, JNU and Jamia Millia have also maintained their dominance. DU has achieved 322nd rank, up from last year’s 328th rank. At the same time, the ranking of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was at number 558 last year, but now it has reached number 555 at the global level.
52 Indian institutions included in the ranking
In this ranking of QS in the year 2017, only 14 Indian institutions were included in this list. At the same time, now this number has increased to 52. The QS World University Rankings 2027 have evaluated more than 1500 universities from 106 countries and regions of the world.

Maximum improvement in the ranking of these 3 universities
The institutions making the most improvements include VIT, BITS Pilani and Jamia Millia Islamia. VIT has jumped 94 places to reach 597th rank. At the same time, BITS Pilani has climbed 93 places to reach 575th position. Jamia Millia Islamia has also achieved 686th rank with an increase of more than 75 ranks.
