National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has canceled the NEET 2026 examination held on May 3. This decision has been taken due to allegations of paper leaking. New exam dates will be released soon.

NTA has said that the examination has been canceled after the approval of the Central Government. The case will be investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Fees will be refunded, no need to re-register

NTA has informed that students will not have to register for the examination again. There will be no change in the previous exam centers also. New admit cards will also be issued for re-exam. Apart from this, the fees of the students appearing in the examination will also be refunded.

Reached the copying gang even before the paper was printed

Bhaskar’s investigation has revealed that the questions had reached the copying gang even before the paper was published. Of these, there were 90 questions from Biology and 35 from Chemistry. The strings of this ‘leak’ are directly connecting to Jaipur.

SOG has arrested a person named Manish from Jaipur on Monday. He is considered to be the mastermind of leaking the questions before the paper was published. Its entire network is being investigated.

There is a possibility of it spreading to many more states. The gang prepared a ‘question bank’ by adding other questions to the leaked questions before they were published. Manish carried out this work along with his colleagues.

SOG is busy arresting all of them. This ‘question bank’ was distributed to the students appearing for the examination. Out of these, 90 out of 90 questions of Biology and 35 out of 45 questions of Chemistry appeared exactly in the exam.

The agency has questioned many students who took it. In this he has accepted the money transaction. The agency is taking out its entire money trail.

The investigation started on May 8

NTA said that on May 8, 2026 itself, some investigations related to this matter were handed over to the central agencies, so that the fairness and security of the examination could be ensured.

Based on the findings from the investigating agencies, it was decided that the examination would be conducted again to maintain transparency.

The question bank that reached the students has more than 300 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All of them are written by hand and their handwriting is also the same. Out of these, 150 questions appeared exactly in the NEET UG 2026 paper.
